Simple, efficient, precise – with LANA Process Mining, you can find potential weaknesses, risks, and promising savings opportunities in your business processes within seconds. The web-based software solution offers a direct, automated target-actual comparison of the conformance and performance of your processes. Simultaneously, it analyzes identified deviations and bottlenecks to provide you with a fact-based foundation for optimization measures.
Due to the increasing complexity of processes and the constantly growing volume of data, process data has become a decisive lever for success in the competition for efficiency. Innovative Big Data technologies are required so that companies can remain efficient and competitive. LANA focuses on a vision of a self-service solution: take business optimization into your own hands through automated process visualization and error analysis, instead of having to rely on costly and subjective individual evaluations.
With LANA Process Mining, the Berlin-based software manufacturer Lana Labs has positioned itself in an innovative way in the young, growing market of digital process analysis.

The Chair of “Computer-Aided Statistics” at TU Dortmund has been conducting research for over 10 years in collaboration with partners from the mechanical engineering sector on methods for quality improvement. The focus is on statistical procedures for analyzing temporal data and predicting predefined classes (classification).
The Chair has also been a co-organizer of the annual international “Workshop on Quality Improvement Methods” in Dortmund for over 10 years. Additionally, the Chair conducts lectures on “Statistical Methods in Quality Management” and “The (Lean) Six Sigma Method” for the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The latter event serves as the theoretical component for earning a Six Sigma Green Belt.
MBtech develops, integrates, and tests components, systems, modules, and vehicles worldwide, thereby offering comprehensive vehicle expertise. MBtech represents customer-specific development tasks as well as consulting services throughout the entire product development process and product life cycle.
The Institute for Production Systems (IPS), under the leadership of Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jochen Deuse, conducts research in the field of analysis and design of production systems. It combines established industrial engineering approaches with innovative methods from the fields of Industrial Data Science, automation technology, digital factory, and Lean Production.
The focus of the Institute’s work is the research and design of technical and socio-technical work systems, from which four research areas are derived. Across these research areas, studies are conducted in the fields of Industrial Data Science (application of data mining and machine learning methods in the context of industrial production), simulation of production systems, and inherent material flows and variability management. In addition to teaching and research, the Institute offers a wide spectrum of consulting and services within the framework of industrial contract research.
In the Department of Technical Business Administration at the Hagen location, research and teaching focus on typical issues in industrial engineering and business informatics. The specialization “Lean Six Sigma and Quality Management” in the Master’s degree program deepens knowledge in the area of process analysis and optimization. Through intensive cooperation with the business community, practical training is ensured and new trends are researched.
