Winter peak, Summer slump? Driving success through a systematic approach

21. March 2026

Every year we hear the same sentence: In summer, problems are greater than in winter. As soon as temperatures rise and humidity increases, processes that were stable in January begin to falter. Often people say, “It’s just the weather, there’s nothing you can do about it.”

But is that really true? In our current task force projects, we consistently find that it is rarely the heat alone. The real problem is the complex interaction of three factors:

  1. External influences: Temperature and humidity change the environment.

  2. Material properties: Raw materials from a new supplier react to these environmental changes.

  3. Process parameters: The settings on the machine no longer fit this new mix.

Systematics instead of gut feeling Instead of just turning up the cooling and hoping for the best, we rely on a purely fact-based approach. We use Data Insight to understand exactly how your material reacts at which temperature. We look closely at the numbers. We check which parameters need to be adjusted so that the machine simply compensates for environmental behavior. The goal is a robust process that doesn’t care whether the sun is scorching outside or it’s snowing.

Together with the experts on-site We work closely with the employees on-site. Only when the experts at the machine understand why we are adjusting certain parameters can we achieve a sustainable impact. It’s about making complexity manageable — objectively, precisely, and practically. When we systematically align material properties and process parameters, the “summer problems” disappear almost by themselves.

Does your process also have a “summer allergy”? Let the data speak and make your production weatherproof. We bring the systematic approach that ensures true stability
